Most of the shows I have created or I have seen in the last few years deal with frustrations, war, politics, social, aesthetic or theatre issues. That’s why with Enjoy July project I definitely need to go to completely opposite direction and would love to explore phenomenon of the human pleasure and some possible and impossible ways to have pleasure during the summer 2007.

The play Enjoy July was created at the initiative of the Station – Service for Contemporary Dance, with the purpose of stimulating cooperation among domestic contemporary dance artists and their colleagues in the Balkan region. This cooperation enriches the entire regional dance scene, but also provides acknowledgement of one of the most important and very clearly stated priorities of the Station as an active actor within the Balkan artistic and cultural network: the promotion of dance as a relevant artistic form on the local level and presentation of the local dance scene reaches to all relevant European dance institutions.
