(The project premiered in May 2004 at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Germany where the authors went through the programme artist in residence. In January 2005 the premiere in Serbian was held in the Filodramatice Hall in Rijeka, Croatia. In June 2005 it played in the Yugoslav Drama Theatre … Studio stage in Belgrade.

’10 theatrical tableauxa –photographs of actress Sena Đorović acting in imaginary possible plays, are offered to the audience on the Internet (www.geocities.com/actressbg). The audience is then invited to cast their votes for the one they would like to see, so that the play itself is selected through the voting process.

However, no matter how luxurious and versatile the beginning is, striptease is striptease – and it always ends in the same way. Besides uncovering herself the actress uncovers …
…On one hand the audience is offered freedom of choice, and on the other their pleasure is postponed. But just as freedom is only a political construction, striptease is striptease, and theatre is only theatre – so this play is a trap for the audience as well as for the performers’. (a description of the play taken from its programme)

The theatre that betrays, and is theatre still. The theatre that reveals answers, and is theatre still. The theatre that substitutes the hypocrisy of democracy for rude uncompromising terror, and is theatre still. The theatre that disconnects you, and is theatre still. The theatre you don’t really want, and is theatre still. What more would you want from theatre?
(Ana Vujović, taken from the play’s programme)
